WHAT YOU'LL DO
As RETAIL EVENTS MANAGER (F/M/D) you get the chance to successfully manage and actively drive assigned retail-related projects. You ensure an efficient and effective planning, development, implementation, execution and documentation of a project according to deadlines and within the given budget & scope.
 
You will actively...
 
  • Organize, prepare and execute merchandise sales and other big retail related-acitvations in Europe & worldwide, e.g. UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, European Men's Handball Championship, UEFA Euro 2024 etc. 
  • Participate in concept work, planning and executing of big retail events as well as management 
  • Help with visual merchandising, designing of stores and event installations
  • Search for suitable suppliers, conduct negotiations and help in setting up contracts 
  • Pick products and place orders from local and international suppliers 
  • Support in developing and introducing new product ranges 
  • Participate in national and international exhibitions and fairs to identify market trends, build relationships with potential suppliers and place product orders 
  • Support in planning purchases and deliveries in accordance with sales plans 
  • Supply all sales channels with product quantities required to meet sales plans and achieve targeted financial performance 
  • Take care of general pricing, purchase cost control, price adjustments in accordance to changes in supply conditions 
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis 
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques 
  • Report and escalate to management as needed 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Experienced. You bring certified qualifications or ca. 2-3 years of practical experience in the field of retail project management in the sports industry
  • Competent. You convince us with former project management experience and practical knowledge of state-of-the-art project management methods in an international working environment
  • Skilled. You bring advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel, Outlook & Teams. You speak fluent English and - ideally - German
