Your opportunity as JUNIOR PR & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (f/m/d) will be to develop frameworks and strategies for communication regarding campaigns, projects and activations in the outdoor sports industry. With a strong background in business communication across all channels and media, you enjoy preparing press releases and other forms of written and verbal communication. You know well how to connect the storytelling with the activation site. Your role will be to communicate outdoor initiatives clearly to internal and external audiences in the field of sports and lifestyle.

You are a highly creative person, know how to support the strategy development process and also have a track record in bringing those concepts to life in more coordinative or managerial roles. You are a real team player who can surprise with new perspectives, always serving the purpose of our mission.

In this role you will actively…

  • Shape, coordinate and execute marketing strategies in the field of outdoor sports.
  • Manage Public Relations and social media.
  • Coordinate PR plans in various markets.
  • Develop and execute PR approach including press/media communication.
  • Optimize the connection between storytelling and activations.
  • Ensure that written texts and releases are clear and accurate. 
  • Handle customer assignments related to communication including conceptual, creative and copywriting work.
  • Independently execute assigned projects while managing balance of short-term requests and long-term projects. 
  • Act unexpected, united, exclusive, passionate and unique.

  • Experienced. You bring 1 years of business-related experience in PR and communication, and you ideally have completed education in these fields. 
  • Skilled. You have a good knowledge of the outdoor sports industry and know the best communication techniques in this business area. Ideally, you have a passion for outdoor sports yourself.
  • Good writer. You are a well-rounded, versatile writer with attention to detail 
  • Organized. You have strong self-organization skills and enjoy working towards deadlines.
  • Communicative. You speak fluent English and German. You can communicate clearly and professionally with various stakeholders. You have great presentation skills.
  • IT-affine. You bring good Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills as well as good command of graphic applications.
  • Team player. You have an open and friendly personality who acts as a true team player and do not mind sharing responsibility with different groups of people

  • Passionate. You have a passion for sports, culture, and sustainability.
