Your opportunity in this STRATEGIC TRENDS & INNOVATION MANAGER (F/M/D) position will allow you to inspire brands, people and society by diving headfirst into the world of our partners and brands. 
You will be responsible for strengthening act.3 deliverables by connecting brand insights with human experience. Looking into culture, future and current trends, as well as innovative visions, you will bring insights to spark relevant and inspiring creative ideas. You will shape the future today. 

You are a source of inspiration and innovation to our team and own your original perspectives within act.3. With a close eye on latest news, movements, styles, refreshing people and innovations, you have an analiytical yet emotional way of materializing the world narrative into exciting conclusions, reports and creative suggestions to our teams and clients. 

You think and act holistically, love to think outside the box, to push limits, to be on top of the latest happenings, and ensure coherence between world facts, your imagination and marketing strategies developed by the act.3 creative team. 

You will infuse both human truths and cultures into business objectives, spark creativity and inspiration. 

Overall responsibilities: 
  • Explore and stay on top of the latest innovations, culture, latest news, movements, styles, influencers, and exciting trends. 
  • Drive research and look for insights in various fields of play such as sport, sustainability, lifestyle, digital, amongst many others, in addition to understanding different consumer profiles such as gen z, millennials and beyond.
  • Analyse and interpret world facts and data in order to make relevant and creative suggestions to our different teams and playing fields, both for clients as well as for internal strategies.  
  • Guide qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. 
  • Engage with trend platforms such as WGSN, LS:N and more. 
  • Develop trend analysis to identify the sweet spot between consumer needs, innovation and business opportunities for brands to holistically activate their strategies. 
  • Enable action by translating insights into thought pieces/ whitepapers/ presentations. 
  • Create extensive and short reports according to trends and consumer insights knowledge gathered for different kind of brands, partners, clients and projects. 
  • Shape presentations. Copywriting & PowerPoint presentation design skills are a plus. 
  • Hold, prepare and empower brainstorms, ideation sessions and project inspiration workshops. 
  • Share and present insights through client and internal trends presentations and workshops. 
  • Set up a mechanism to contiously upskill & inspire various internal and external stakeholders with your findings in form of reports, presentations or workshops. 
  • Empower culture-marketing. Help brands focus think who they are, what they care about, and how they should interact with the world. 
  • Collaborate, co-create and communicate with diverse teams in concept development processes to inspire the most impactful and strategic approach for our projects.

  • Hard Worker. You have a minimum of 2-5 years research experience from agency or client side. 
  • International. Fluent English with excellent verbal and written skills. Portuguese or/and German are a plus.
