WHAT YOU'LL DO
In your role of INTERNSHIP – PROJECT CONTROLLING (F/M/D) you will have the opportunity to support in overviewing and analyzing our business and projects. Your role will be placed in the Project Controlling department with a strong connection to Business Controlling, Finance and our Project Management Office which gives you an enormous chance to gain insights, take responsibility, learn and grow.
You ensure an efficient and successful planning, analyzing, handling and interpretation of data, with the focus on our projects. Together with the Project Controlling team, you will be the first point of contact for our colleagues in terms of budget and our ERP system related questions for both external and internal projects as well as our overhead cost centers.
You collaborate with our project leads in the offer creation process and pro-actively accompany the process of your assigned projects and cost centers and make sure that the projects stay within their budget.

  • Control overall global budgets and offers
  • Overview the efficiency of the project teams and projects
  • Create regular & relevant reports, business cases and presentations to deliver a solid decision making basis for our management  
  • Support with financial (ad hoc) overviews/updates
  • Conduct quality checks and supervision (order-to-cash) of our offers
  • Support pitch/tender processes whenever necessary
  • Communicate across various teams (Business Controlling, Finance, PMO, Project Teams) as well as with external stakeholders 
  • Brainstorm - together with the team - process optimization possibilities  
  • Conduct administrative and analytical tasks in the area of internal cost center tracking 
  • Update systems and databases accurately
  • Take on additional project tasks as needed

  • Enrolled. You are currently enrolled as a student, ideally in one of the fields relevant for this role (finance, economics, business controlling, business management, business administration etc.)

  • Communicative. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English. 
  • Skilled. You are confident in using MS Excel. You ideally gained first insights in business controlling and finance management tools, reporting, and data visualization techniques.
